A Comparative Study of the Word “Pak” in Chinese-Thai Idioms

This article has studied Chinese idioms with the words “KOU” and “ZUI” to compare to Thai idioms with the word “pak”. The study has shown that most of meaning in the studied Chinese idioms are similar to the studied Thai idioms. However, some of the Chinese idioms without “KOU” and “ZUI” comparing to Thai idioms with the word “pak” and some of Chinese idioms with the word “KOU” and “ZUI” comparing to Thai idioms without the word “pak” have shown both similarity and partly resemblance in the meaning.
