Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Length and Formatting – Ensure the manuscript is between 8,000 - 10,000 words (excluding references), typed on A4 paper with 1-inch margins, using the required font style and proper heading hierarchy. The layout and numbering must strictly follow the journal template.
  • Figures, Tables, and Images – All figures, tables, and images must be in English or the original language, numbered consecutively, and clearly labeled. Use three-line tables and high-resolution photos, and include image sources or permissions where applicable.
  • Manuscript Structure – Include all required sections: Title Page, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Objectives, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, and References. Follow the order and section formatting as specified in the template.
  • References and Citations – Follow the APA 7th edition citation style consistently in both text and reference list. All references must be in English and formatted accurately.
  • File Submission – Submit two separate .docx files: One with complete author information (names, affiliations, emails). One anonymous version with all identifying details removed for peer review.
  • Compliance Confirmation – Authors must confirm they have read and followed the full Author Guidelines. Manuscripts not formatted according to these requirements will be desk-rejected or returned for revision before review.

Research Article

Research articles present original studies with clear methodologies, well-documented evidence, and comprehensive insights that advance knowledge in Thai–Chinese studies. They should provide focused analyses of specific issues, historical evidence, or research findings that contribute to the journal’s aims and scope.

Academic Article

Academic articles offer in-depth discussions and analyses of disciplinary issues within Thai–Chinese studies. Submissions may include theoretical analyses, comprehensive literature reviews, or case studies, provided they present clear objectives, coherent arguments, and meaningful conclusions.
