The Impact “Belt and Road Initiative” on National Development Strategy of Kyrgyzstan until 2040

The practical implementation of “Belt and Road Initiative” will lead to the establishment of a new architecture of the world economy, in which case the Central Asian countries will become the main link. Kyrgyzstan has the opportunity to become a transport hub for the transport of goods and services from the Asia-Pacific region to the Middle East and Europe. The “Belt and Road Initiative” provides Kyrgyzstan with new opportunities to participate in the Regional Division of labor and cooperation. Under the “One Belt and One Road” framework, the important goal of the “National Development Strategy of Kyrgyzstan until 2040” is to provide the necessary economic and political conditions for the realization of the “One Belt and One Road” project. In other words, the “One Belt and One Road” has become the driving force of the “National Development Strategy of Kyrgyzstan until 2040”. Since China is one of Kyrgyzstan's important partners, the “Belt and Road Initiative” has a direct impact on the development of relations between the two countries. This article uses the impact of the Belt and Road on Kyrgyzstan to understand how the Belt and road construction affects Kyrgyzstan's 2040 national development strategy. The “Belt and Road Initiative” has a positive impact on Kyrgyzstan, but the Kyrgyz people are worried about the country's economic over-reliance on China.
