Book Review “Designing and Writing Lesson Plans”

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to introduce the textbook named “Designing and Writing Lesson Plans,” which is useful and interesting for teachers, student teacher trainees, educators, or those who are interested in becoming teachers because designing and writing lesson plans are essential competencies for the teaching profession. In this book, the authors explain the key principles of designing and writing lesson plans, dividing the content into three parts: Part 1: Designing Lesson Plans, Part 2: Writing Lesson Plans, and Part 3: Evaluating and Improving Lesson Plans. In each part, the authors explain the key principles and the steps of designing and writing lesson plans, and provide clear examples. As a result, the readers can easily understand the content and practice designing and writing lesson plans step-by-step as outlined in the book.
