Belt and Road Initiative in the New Era Promotes Urban Development along the Route

Abstract

In October 2017, "Belt and Road Initiative" was written into the newly revised Party Constitution at the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, which was great significant to the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era. While, in October 2019, on the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the "Belt and Road" had become the "Golden business card" of China in the new era. The participation of different countries had made “Belt and Road Initiative” to transformed from concept to action, which led the cooperation to the win-win situation. For the cities along the “Belt”, to get integrated in to the Silk Road, in the new era, to step into the new century's urban construction, this concludes a spotlight of the high-quality development for the "Belt and Road". To the end, this paper studied the influence of the Belt and Road Initiative of the new era on the cities from the different countries along the route, and analyzed the opportunities and the innovation of the regional urban development, so as to make a preliminary discussion.
