Abstract

Political philosophy refers to exploring the best political system and way of life of human beings. To this end, it is necessary to study the nature or nature of human beings, the origin or foundation of nations, the organizational principles of socioeconomic systems, the basis of moral or value orientation, justice or The essence of justice and other basic issues. Among them, democracy is an important category studied by political philosophy. Democracy as a "universal value" is the goal pursued by modern nations and peoples, but it is special for the specific road to achieve democracy. It is also democratic, but its interpretation is very different from the East and the West. Therefore, the model will be different in each country, which means that China and Vietnam will have their own characteristics on the road and way to achieve democratization. This article focuses on the differences between "vertical democracy" in the East and "horizontal democracy" in the West, and the practical experience of Vietnam's road to democratization.
