A Comparative Criticism of Two Thai Versions of A Madman’s Diary
Abstract
วรรณกรรมเรื่อง 《狂人日记》นับว่าเป็นวรรณกรรมชิ้นเอกเรื่องหนึ่งของจีนในยุคสมัยใหม่ จึงมีผู้แปลออกมาเป็นภาษาไทยหลายสำนวนด้วยกัน งานวิจัยบทนี้มุ่งศึกษา สำนวนการแปลวรรณกรรมเรื่อง 《狂人日记》 2 สำนวน คือ สำนวนของสำนักพิมพ์สาวน้อย ซึ่งตีพิมพ์ในพ.ศ.2521 และสำนวนของสำนักพิมพ์ชุมศิลป์ธรรมดา ซึ่งตีพิมพ์ในปี พ.ศ.2546 โดยวิเคราะห์จากมุมมองแบบมหภาค คือ การรักษาลีลาการประพันธ์ของผู้แปล และวิเคราะห์จากมุมมองแบบจุลภาค คือ การแปลชื่อเรื่อง การแปลคำสรรพนาม การใช้ภาษา การเลือกใช้คำ ทั้งยังเสนอปัญหาที่พบในการแปลและแนวทางแก้ไข ซึ่งสำนวนแรกในงานวิจัยบทนี้จะหมายถึงสำนวนของสำนักพิมพ์สาวน้อย และสำนวนที่สองหมายถึงสำนวนของสำนักพิมพ์ชุมศิลป์ธรรมดา
