Abstract

The Results of Problem-Solving Skills Development Using the Learning Set on Simple Problem Solving by Blended Learning for Grade 4 Students. This research is an experimental study with the following objectives: (1) examine the problem-solving skills of Grade 4 students before and after using a learning package on basic problem solving through blended learning, and (2) assess students’ satisfaction with the learning package. The sample consisted of 40 Grade 4 students from Watkuanwisade School under the Trang Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 in the academic year 2024, selected through cluster random sampling. The research instruments included: 1) a learning package on basic problem solving through blended learning, 2) blended learning lesson plans, 3) a problem-solving skills test, and 4) a student satisfaction questionnaire. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and t-test. The findings revealed that 1) the students’ average problem-solving score increased from 8.75 (43.75%) before the learning to 16.38 (81.90%) after the learning. The difference was statistically significant at the .05 level. In addition, 2) students’ satisfaction with the learning package was at a high level, with a mean score of 4.28. The results indicate that the use of the blended learning package effectively enhanced students’ problem-solving skills and could be further applied to develop other learning competencies.
