Abstract

Over the past decade, the primary responsibilities of the human resources department may not seem to have changed much, still revolving around human resource planning, recruiting and selection, training and development, career path management, succession planning, talent management, compensation and benefits management, including employee relations and quality of work life. But the tools used in the management to achieve the above goals have changed a lot. Due to the rapidly changing technology and the expectations of the new generation of employees also change. Therefore, if the human resource department does not keep up with the digital age will not be able to maintain the organization’s competitiveness because the best employees will leave the organization that provides technology and a work environment that is more supportive of their skills. This article aims to present the organization's drive toward human resource management in the digital era. As a guideline for operators, human resource studies and researchers see how organizations can transform human resource management to work digitally by using new technology tools or applications.
