The Evaluation of the English Camp Project at Wat Phra Mahathat School under the Office of Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

Abstract

This independent study was a project evaluation. The objective was to evaluate the context, input, process and product of the English Camp project at Wat Phra Mahathat School Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, by applying the CIPP evaluation model. The sample group consisted of 5 administrators, 14 teachers, and 186 students, 205 people. Tools used It is a 4-volume 5-level estimation questionnaire. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation and content analysis from the open-ended questions regarding project implementation development guidelines in the questionnaire.

The results of the research found that overall the level was at a high level. When considering each aspect, it was found that the process was at the highest level. followed by context is at the highest level In terms of input, it was at a high level and the product was at a high level, respectively. For the context, the objectives of the project were consistent with the policy of the Ministry of Education showed the highest mean. In terms of input, the availability of learning resources outside the school the highest mean. the process, roles and responsibilities for personnel in project operations were defined. The steps project details and methods were clearly and appropriately set. The format for organizing activities in the project helped students to be enthusiastic in participating in the activities. While implementing the project, methods were revised and improved when defects were found showed the highest mean. In terms of product, the training was in accordance with the set schedule revealed the highest mean.
