Guidelines for Educational Learning Resources Management Under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Bangkok 2

Abstract

This research aimed to: 1) examine guidelines for learning resource management within educational institutions and 2) develop and evaluate learning resource management guidelines for educational institutions. The key informants, selected through purposive sampling, were six school administrators from quality schools. The evaluators consisted of 196 participants, including school administrators, personnel responsible for learning resources for instructional management, heads of facilities management, and heads of environmental management. The research instruments included a semi-structured interview and a guideline evaluation form. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis through conclusion building.

The research revealed that: 1) the learning resource management guidelines within educational institutions comprised three dimensions: 1.1) management of learning resources for instructional management, 1.2) management of learning resources to promote instructional management, and 1.3) management of learning resources to facilitate daily life. Each dimension consisted of four stages: planning and plan formulation, implementation, supervision, monitoring and evaluation, and summarization and reporting. 2) The developed guidelines consisted of three components: 2.1) background and significance, 2.2) objectives, and 2.3) learning resource management guidelines within educational institutions. The evaluation results indicated that the overall quality was at the highest level. When considered by aspect, feasibility, appropriateness, and usefulness were all rated at the highest level, respectively.
