Abstract

The objectives of this research were: (1) to design the Curriculum Guide with Augmented Reality Technology, (2) to the Development of Curriculum Guide with Augmented Reality Technology, and (3) to evaluate the quality of the developed AR media. The research focused on designing AR media as an innovative approach to curriculum presentation, developed from conventional methods such as brochures or printed pamphlets typically used for program promotion. The newly developed AR media enables users to access interactive and immersive information through smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices.

The sample group used in this research consisted of 500 students who were interested in using augmented reality to introduce their courses, selected through purposive sampling. The research instruments included the AR media for curriculum introduction and an expert evaluation form assessing media quality across five aspects. Data were analyzed using mean and standard deviation.

The research findings indicated that 1) the design and development of the AR media resulted in a prototype model represented by a multidimensional conceptual diagram for media development. 2) The development of media using augmented reality media for curriculum promotion among prospective students. 3) The overall quality evaluation of the AR media showed a high level of quality, with a mean score of 4.69 (equation= 4.69) and a standard deviation of 0.58 (S.D. = 0.58). These results demonstrate that the developed augmented reality media for curriculum introduction is highly effective and suitable for practical implementation in educational contexts.
