Project-Based Learning Combined with Collaborative Learning to Develop Cultural Sensitivity Skills

Abstract

This research aimed to compare Cultural Sensitivity Skills through project-based learning and collaborative learning before and after learning. The sample consisted of 32 undergraduate students at Thaksin University, Phatthalung Campus, who registered for Multilingual Education for Learning in the first semester of the 2025 academic year. The research instruments consisted of 1) three lesson plans and 2) Cultural Sensitivity Scale. The statistics used for data analysis included mean (equation), standard deviation (S.D.), and the t-test. The results of the research found that cultural sensitivity skills were significantly higher after project-based learning combined with cooperative learning, compared to before learning, at the .05 level.
