THE DEVELOP READING COMPREHENSION ABILITIES OF MATHAYOMSUKSA 1 MUANG PHON PHITTHAYAKHOM SCHOOL, PHON DISTRICT, KHON KAEN PROVINCE STUDENTS BY MANAGING LEARNING WITH THE KWL TECHNIQUE

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the reading comprehension ability of Mathayomsuksa 1 students using the KWL teaching method; 1 Before and after learning management using the KWL teaching method. The samples used in this research were Mathayomsuksa 1/9 students of Muang Phon Pittayakom School, Phon District, Khon Kaen Province. Under the Khon Kaen Provincial Administrative Organization who are studying in the first semester of the academic year 2022, number 1 class, totaling 45 students obtained from simple random sampling (Simple Random Sampling) by lottery method using the classroom as a random unit

The research tools consisted of Critical reading learning management plan using the KWL teaching method and the critical reading achievement test. The satisfaction questionnaire towards the cooperative group learning management, KWL teaching method, statistics used mean. and the t-test and the dependent standard deviation.

The results showed that

1. The ability of reading comprehension of Mathayomsuksa 1 students by learning management using the KWL method met the criteria of 80%.2. The ability of reading comprehension of Mathayomsuksa 1 students before and after learning management using the KWL teaching method.
