THE TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS AFFECTING THE CORE COMPETENCIES OF TEACHERS IN SCHOOLS UNDER THE LOEI PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 2

This thesis aimed to: (1) examine the level of transformational leadership of school administrators under the Loei Primary Educational Service Area Office 2; (2) examine the level of core competencies of teachers in schools under the Loei Primary Educational Service Area Office 2; (3) investigate the relationship between transformational leadership of school administrators and the core competencies of teachers; and (4) study the influence of transformational leadership of school administrators on the core competencies of teachers. The sample consisted of 302 teachers and educational personnel in schools under the Loei Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 in the academic year 2024.
The research findings revealed that:
- the overall level of transformational leadership of school administrators was high. The aspect with the highest mean score was idealized influence, followed by intellectual stimulation
- the overall level of teachers’ core competencies was also high. The highest mean score was in teamwork, followed by professional ethics and morality
- there was a positive correlation between transformational leadership of school administrators and teachers’ core competencies, with a Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.791
- transformational leadership of school administrators had a statistically significant effect on the core competencies of teachers at the 0.05 level of significance.
