Abstract

This study investigates the factors influencing organizations to adopt environmentally friendly technologies. It focuses on environmental awareness, problem learning, social influence, organizational attitudes, and sustainable development. Specifically, it examines the relationships among environmental problems perceived, environmental problem learning, sustainability awareness, social influence toward Green IT, attitudes toward Green IT, and the intention to use Green IT. The sample includes 400 individuals from Bangkok, selected through non-probability sampling. This study adopted a quantitative research methodology. Data were gathered through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using regression analysis via IBM SPSS Statistics.

The results of hypothesis testing using the Enter regression method revealed that environmental problem perceived had a positive effect on environmental problem learning. Environmental problem learning had a positive and statistically significant effect on awareness of environmental sustainability. Moreover, perception of environmental problems, awareness of environmental sustainability, social influence toward Green IT, and attitudes toward Green IT significantly influenced the intention to use Green IT.
