THE DEVELOPMENT OF A RESEARCH-BASED LEARNING MODEL TO ENHANCE MATHEMATICS LITERACY OF 3RD GRADE STUDENTS OF OPPORTUNITY EXPANSION SCHOOL

This research aims to 1) develop a Research-Based Learning model to enhance Mathematical literacy of 3rd grade students of opportunity expansion school. 2) To examine the effects of implementing the model Research-Based Learning Model to Enhance Mathematics literacy of 3rd grade students of opportunity expansion school. The population used in the research was 48 participants, including Educational Supervisor, School administrators, Students and 3rd grade mathematic teachers of opportunity expansion school. The instruments used were 1) a Research-Based Learning model to enhance Mathematics literacy of 3rd grade students of opportunity expansion school. 2) Mathematical literacy test, and 3) focus group discussion topics. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.
The research results found that
1) The research-based learning model to enhance Mathematical literacy of 3rd grade students of opportunity expansion school consists of 4 components: 1) Principles, 2) Objectives, 3) Research-based learning process, and 4) Measurement and evaluation of learning outcomes.
2) After using The research-based learning model to enhance Mathematical literacy of 3rd grade students of opportunity expansion school, it was found that the mathematical ability scores increased at the significance level of 0.05.
