MOOCS TECHNOLOGY AND ONLINE EDUCATION IN THE COVID SITUATION
Abstract
This academic article aims to present the use of MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) technology in online education during the COVID-19 situation through the analysis and synthesis of data from relevant textbooks and academic documents. Based on the research findings, MOOCs technology is a significant online learning platform in the context of COVID-19, enabling learners to access diverse learning content that aligns with their needs flexibly. Online education through MOOCs offers several advantages, such as convenient access to learning anytime and anywhere, a variety of course offerings, and expert support. Furthermore, MOOCs are considered trustworthy and adhere to standards. Online education through MOOCs is an effective approach that enhances learning capabilities and provides opportunities for self-development in today's society. Expanding the impact of MOOCs technology in education can be achieved through various methods. For instance, promoting and supporting educational institutions to incorporate MOOCs as part of online teaching and learning, emphasizing the development and utilization of MOOCs platforms to enhance flexible and standardized online learning.
