Abstract

The development of cultural heritage and communication to foster collaboration in the creation of activities for the elderly using culture as a foundation are crucial steps in supporting an aging society and acknowledging the worth of the aged. The challenges of maintaining the Mor Lam Sin Sai customs and activities for the elderly are discussed in this article, along with how participatory action research may be used to improve communication and bring about improvements locally. Development-related communication has sparked a resurgence and raised local knowledge of Mor Lam Sin Sai's significance, creating the framework for ongoing operations by the Sin Sai preservation group. The development of Mor Lam Sin Sai's cultural heritage, the establishment of community learning centers or the Sin Sai Learning Park, the experimentation with community-based cultural tourism, and the use of Sin Sai in educational media (like games and coloring books) have all been carried out. The effects that have taken place include academic impacts through learning research for social service, social and cultural impacts through the formation of groups and the development of mechanisms for preservation groups, policy impacts through cultural expansion by policy units, and the development of academic communication. Additionally, a few public communication channels have been established to provide information about Mor Lam Sin Sai.
