Quality of life of the elderly in Khao Din Nuea Subdistrict, Ban Kruat District, Buriram Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research paper are 1) to study the quality of life of the elderly in the area of Khao Din Nuea Sub-district Administrative Organization, Ban Krat District, Buriram Province and 2) to determine the factors that affect the level of quality of life of the elderly in Khao Din Nuea Sub-district Administrative Organization. and 3) for guidelines for managing problems related to the quality of life of the elderly in the Khao Din Nuea Sub-district Administrative Organization. Ban Krat District, Buriram Province The research model is quantitative research, using the concept of quality of life of the elderly as the research framework. The research area is in the administrative organization area of Khao Din Nuea Sub-district, Ban Krat District, Buriram Province. A sample of 296 people used a proportional random selection method based on class range. The tool used in the research is a questionnaire to analyze the data using statistical statistics such as frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation.

The results showed that: 1) The quality of life of the elderly in Khao Din Nuea Sub-district, Ban Krat District, Buriram Province was found to be high overall, with an average value of 3.71 ( = 3.71, S.D. = 0.594). 2) Factors affecting the quality of life of the elderly in Khao Din Nuea Sub-district, Ban Krat District, Buriram Province were found to be high overall, with an average value of 3.67 (= 3.67, S.D. = 0.957). 3) Guidelines for Managing Problems Regarding the Quality of Life of the Elderly in Khao Din Nuea Sub-district Administrative Organization Ban Krat District, Buriram Province It was found that the improvement of the quality of life of the elderly It is necessary to integrate cooperation from many sectors, including the government, private sector, and the community, to encourage the elderly to have good physical and mental health.
