PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT WITH CULTURAL CAPITAL COMMUNITY WAY OF NATURAL COLORED TIE DYE FABRIC GROUP FROM NIPA PALM, SURAT THANI

This research is a combination of both quantitative and qualitative research. The purpose is to study information about the product. and suggest guidelines for product development from cultural capital, community way of life of the group of natural-colored tie-dye fabrics from nipa palm, Surat Thani approach by interviewing, and surveying with two key informant groups: 1) cultural capital holders such as village philosophers, leaders of natural-colored tie-dye fabrics from nipa palm and 2) consumer groups of products from cultural capital.
The results reveal that group of natural-colored tie-dye fabrics from nipa palm products made from local cultural capital such as tie dye fabrics from nipa palm such as clothes and bags are made, which demonstrates the relationship between cultural resources and people in the community. By surveying the opinions of the majority of consumers about products such as bags from natural-colored tie-dye fabrics. show that the current product naming is appropriate. The price of the product is reasonable and accessible. which care bags are the most favored by consumers. However, consumers have more opinions to add more colors and more styles of bags.
Guidelines for product development from cultural capital, community lifestyle of the group of natural tie dye fabrics from nipa palm. There should be a meaning that shows the story of local cultural capital such as natural tie dye from nipa palm to create value and increase product value as well as to increase awareness to reach a growing group of consumers by relying on cooperation from government agencies to support.
