Applying Design Thinking Process As A New Tool For Change Anagement In Thai Public Organization: How And What Benefits?

Currently, both concept of Design Thinking and Change Management have been recognised as significant organizational management application in order to adapt and survive in rapid changing circumstance and situations. Therefore, this academic article have three key purposes as follows; 1) To summarily describe the main concept and process of Design Thinking 2) To indicate how to apply concept and process of Design Thinking as a new managerial tool of Change Management in an organization, and 3) To illustrate a Thai case study in order to point out important benefits of applying process of Design Thinking as a tool for managing planed change in an organization. By achieving the article’s aims, the targeted readers that are related Thai academicians, practitioners, including executive officers who are interesting in managing change, can have additional choice and new managerial tool to handle and manage changes in their organizations more effectively.
