บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างเพศสภาพและพฤติกรรม โดยพิจารณามิติของบทบาททางเพศ การแสดงออกทางเพศสภาพ และอิทธิพลของสังคมและวัฒนธรรมที่มีต่อการสร้างพฤติกรรมของบุคคล ใช้วิธีการทบทวนแนวคิดและงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องในเชิงทฤษฎีด้านจิตวิทยาและสังคมวัฒนธรรม เพื่ออธิบายที่มาของความแตกต่างทางเพศทั้งจากปัจจัยทางชีววิทยาและสิ่งแวดล้อม ผลการวิเคราะห์พบว่า เพศสภาพส่งอิทธิพลต่อการรับรู้ตนเอง การเลือกบทบาททางสังคม และพฤติกรรมการปรับตัวในชีวิตประจำวัน โดยมีการเชื่อมโยงกับแบบแผนทางเพศและความคาดหวังของสังคม องค์ความรู้ใหม่ที่ได้จากการสังเคราะห์ชี้ให้เห็นว่าการเข้าใจเพศสภาพในฐานะ “มิติทางสังคมที่ยืดหยุ่นได้” ช่วยเสริมสร้างแนวคิดเรื่องความเท่าเทียมทางเพศ การพัฒนาเชิงพฤติกรรม และการออกแบบนโยบายด้านทรัพยากรมนุษย์และการศึกษาอย่างเท่าเทียม ซึ่งมีนัยสำคัญต่อการอยู่ร่วมกันในสังคมพหุวัฒนธรรม
