Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Process of Local Administrative Organizations Case Study of Tha Muang Subdistrict Municipality, Selaphum District, Roi Et Province

Abstract

This research article aims to 1. Study the disaster prevention and mitigation process of local administrative organizations and 2. Suggest guidelines for the development of disaster prevention and mitigation process of local administrative organizations. The research method is analyzed through qualitative research by in-depth interview with the sample group, consisting of 4 target groups: 1. Mayor (1 person) 2. Municipality members (4 people) 3. Officials (5 people) and 4. Citizens (10 people) totaling 20 people. The results of the study on the disaster prevention and mitigation process of local administrative organizations found that it is a process of identifying important risks of the organization and community, assessing the impact of the risks, developing risk management guidelines, and implementing them systematically with integration, emphasizing the consistency between work plans, processes, personnel, and technology to create safety and achieve the goals of the organization and the community.
