Operational efficiency of the implementation of the Local Development Plan of Sanphaya Subdistrict Municipality, Sapphaya District, Chai Nat Province

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study people's opinions toward the operational efficiency of the local development plan of Sapphaya Subdistrict Municipality, Sapphaya District, Chai Nat Province; and 2) to compare these opinions classified by personal factors. This study employed a quantitative research methodology, utilizing the concept of operational effectiveness under local development plans as the conceptual framework.
The research findings revealed that: 1) Overall and in all individual dimensions, the residents' opinions toward the operational efficiency of the local development plan were at a high level. Sorting by mean scores from highest to lowest, the dimensions were: learning and development, service delivery, recipient satisfaction, and infrastructure. 2)Personal factors regarding gender and age showed no statistically significant differences in opinions. However, education level, occupation, average monthly income, length of residency, and awareness of/participation in local development plan activities showed statistically significant differences. Notably, groups with higher education and income levels tended to evaluate operational efficiency higher than other groups.
