Abstract

The objectives of this study were: (1) to examine the level of organizational commitment of personnel working at the Lopburi Provincial Administrative Organization, (2) to investigate the level of job performance among personnel, and  (3) to explore the relationship and influence of organizational commitment on job performance. This research employed a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 186 personnel from the Lopburi Provincial Administrative Organization, determined using Krejcie and Morgan’s sample size table and selected through stratified random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis included percentage, mean, standard deviation, and simple linear regression analysis.

The results revealed that the overall organizational commitment was at a high level. The dimension with the highest mean score was the sense of belonging to the organization, followed by attitude toward work and interpersonal relationships, respectively. The overall level of job performance was also high. Additionally, the simple linear regression analysis indicated that all five dimensions of organizational commitment attitude toward work, acceptance of organizational goals, career advancement, interpersonal relationships, and sense of belonging positively influenced job performance with statistical significance at the .001 level.
