The new public management and Chadchart Sittipunt management model

Abstract

As Chadchart Sittipunt becomes  the new Bangkok Governor, it’s revival of the new public management in Thailand after the year 2006. That may cause disruption to the bureaucracy or the old public management by the soft power named Chadchart Sittipunt.

            The soft power named “Chadchart” can influence and convince people to do what he wants. He does the live broadcasts while working hard which make him charm and his image as a strong man, serious, determined, problem-solving, strong leadership and polite. The people can trust him to solve their problem and they do in cooperating with him by their own, which the democratic public management and good governance by integrated the new public management and the new public service together. This soft power effects to both local politics and national politics with fast and furious as the butterfly effect to absolute changing of local politics and national politics.
