The effectiveness of public service delivery in infrastructure according to the local development plan of Hat Asa Subdistrict Municipality, Sanpya District, Chai Nat Province.

Abstract

This research aimed to: 1) examine the effectiveness of public service provision in infrastructure development according to the local development plan of Hat Asa Municipality, Sapphaya District, Chai Nat Province; and 2) compare the effectiveness of such services based on personal factors. The sample consisted of 377 residents within the municipality, determined using Yamane's formula. The data collection tool was a questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.898. Data analysis employed statistics including percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-tests, and one-way ANOVA. The findings revealed that: 1) the overall effectiveness of public service provision in infrastructure development was at a high level, with the average scores ranked from highest to lowest as follows: land use, transportation, drainage systems, water resources and water supply, and electricity systems; and 2) the comparison of effectiveness by age showed statistically significant differences at the .001 level, while differences by education level were statistically significant at the .01 level. No significant differences were found based on gender, occupation, or monthly income.
