Abstract

The purpose of this article is to read, translate, analyze, and reinterpret the two Prasat Praibat inscriptions. Because I have a different opinion from the translation that has already been published. The results of the comparative study revealed that there were many discrepancies in the readings of the texts. In particular, the names of important gods in the Prasat Praibat 1 inscription and the era numbers appear in the Prasat Praibat 2 inscription, resulting in many different interpretations of the stories in these two inscriptions.
