As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format, and PDF.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Author Guidelines
The Phasa-Charuek : Journal of Language and Epigraphy is published biannually (two issues per year), every six months: Issue 1 (January–June) and Issue 2 (July–December). The Journal is published in both print and electronic (online) formats. Submitted manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with the following guidelines:
1. Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts may be written in either Thai or English. The total length must not exceed 15 pages.
1.2
The manuscript must be prepared using Microsoft Word for Windows and formatted on A4 paper (single-sided, single-column layout). The font must be TH Sarabun New (font size specifications are provided in Section 5). Page numbers must appear at the top-right corner of every page. If special characters are used, the corresponding font file must also be submitted via the Journal’s email.

Arabic numerals must be used throughout the manuscript, except in cases where numerals from primary source documents are reproduced as examples in the study.

Page margins must be set as follows: top and left margins at 1.5 inches; right and bottom margins at 1 inch.

The organization of the main headings, including the title, author name(s), abstract, and body of the article, shall follow these specifications:
First page: The article title in Thai must appear in TH Sarabun New, 18-point font. The author’s name in Thai must follow, aligned to the right margin. An asterisk shall be placed after the author’s name, with a corresponding footnote indicating academic position, institutional affiliation, and contact email address in TH Sarabun New, 14-point font. On the same page, a Thai abstract (not exceeding one A4 page in length) must be provided, followed by no more than five keywords.
Second page: The article title in English must appear in TH Sarabun New, 18-point font. The author’s name in English must follow, aligned to the right margin, with an asterisk referring to a footnote indicating academic position, institutional affiliation, and contact email address in TH Sarabun New, 14-point font. On the same page, a Thai abstract (not exceeding one A4 page in length) must be provided, followed by no more than five keywords.
Main text: The content and section headings shall be organized according to the author’s objectives. The font must be TH Sarabun New, 16-point size.
2. Referencing
References must follow the author–date citation system in accordance with the format of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the regulations of Silpakorn University (SU). Examples of citation formats should be provided accordingly.
3. Preparation of Illustrations and Tables
If the manuscript includes illustrations, image files must be submitted separately in a designated folder, apart from the main manuscript file (.JPEG format, resolution not less than 300 dpi/inch or at least 1 MB per image). Each image must include a caption specifying the figure number, title, descriptive caption, and source.
In the case of tables, separate files are not required. The author must indicate the table number and table title above each table, aligned to the left margin (e.g., Table 1: Sukhothai Script Format).
