Journal of Human and Life Studies


Aims and Scope

The Journal of Human and Life Studies aims to serve as a scholarly platform for the dissemination of high-quality research and academic works in the interdisciplinary field of “Human and Life Studies.” The journal is dedicated to advancing knowledge and understanding of human life across multiple dimensions, integrating perspectives from the humanities, social sciences, education, psychology, and human development.

The journal welcomes original research articles, review articles, and academic papers that explore contemporary issues related to human existence, well-being, learning, behavior, and social transformation. Emphasis is placed on works that demonstrate theoretical rigor, methodological soundness, and relevance to current societal contexts.

Types of Articles

  1. Research Articles
    Research articles present findings from systematic studies with clear methodology. They should contribute to advancing knowledge in the relevant field, be concise, and focus on key findings. Manuscripts should be 5,000–10,000 words (excluding references), with an abstract not exceeding 300 words.

  2. Academic Articles
    Academic articles emphasize scholarly writing with clear objectives, supporting evidence, and well-grounded conclusions. They should extend knowledge, theory, practice, or introduce new concepts relevant to the journal’s scope. Manuscripts should be 5,000–10,000 words (excluding references), with an abstract not exceeding 300 words.


Language

Manuscripts are accepted in Thai and English, consistent with the journal’s scope and academic writing standards.


Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts are evaluated by at least 2-3 experts under a Double-Blind Peer Review system.

  • Manuscripts from internal authors must be reviewed by external experts with no conflict of interest.


Publication Frequency

The journal is published twice a year:

  • Issue 1: January – June

  • Issue 2: July – December


Article Processing Charges (APCs)

The journal charges an article processing fee as follows:

  1. USD 190 per article (for international bank transfer), or THB 3,500 per article (for domestic bank transfer within Thailand).

Details regarding the payment process will be notified to authors exclusively through the journal’s communication channel in the ThaiJO system.

Note: All fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.


Open Access Policy

The journal provides free online access to all articles worldwide, aiming to disseminate research in Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, Psychology, and related fields.
