A STUDY OF LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT IN THAI LITERATURE THE EPISODE: BIRTH’S PLAI NGAM OF KHUN CHANG KHUN PHAEN STORY BY A ROLE-PLAYING LEARNING MODEL

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the learning achievement in Thai literature. The Episode: Birth’s Plai Ngam of Khun Chang Khun Phaen Story Thai language course Prathomsuksa 6. The sample group for research is Prathomsuksa 6 students  from Baan Liam School, Lam Thamen Chai District Nakhon Ratchasima Province, There are 21 people, of second semester , academic year 2022  by using specific selection The research tools consisted of 4 tools such as 1) a plan of learning management for the development of learning achievements in the Thai literature course on the episode "Birth’s Plai Ngam", of Khun Chang Khun Phaen story, totaling 4 plans, 2)  pre-test and post-test, 3) a satisfaction assessment form. and opinions from students' about teaching methods according to the role-playing learning model; 4) Instruction media, examples of role-playing on The Episode: Birth’s Plai Ngam of Khun Chang Khun Phaen story. This research used statistics to analyze the data, including mean data, standard deviation (SD), and one-group T-test. By using a paired sample t-test, the research results From the students Prathom Suksa 6, there are 21 people were studying at Baan Kham School who were taught by using a role-playing teaching model. The Episode: Birth’s Plai Ngam of Khun Chang Khun Phaen Story. The students had higher score of learning achievement than before the studying by a plan of learning management with an average score before learning 6.90 and an average score after learning 18.24 and an average progress score 11.20, representing 56.00 %  It can be seen that 21 students of Grade 6 at Ban Siliam School were managed to learn by using a role-playing teaching model. The Episode: Birth’s Plai Ngam of Khun Chang Khun Phaen Story The students' achievement was significantly higher than before the activity at the .05 level.Keywords: Sapa, role play, Thai literature
