The Comparison of Learning Achievement in History Subject Re: The Historical Development during the Sukhothai Era for Grade 4 Students

Abstract
This article aimed to (1) create and find efficiency of learning based on using electronic books (E-book) Series: The founding of the Sukhothai kingdom for grade 4 students to meet the efficiency standard of 80/80, and (2) compare the learning achievement in history on the topic “Historical development in the Sukhothai Era” of grade 4 students between teaching using the electronic book (E-Book) series titled “The founding of Sukhothai kingdom” and regular teaching. The sample group for this research consists of Grade 4 students from Patumanukul School, Tha sala district, Nakhon Si Thammarat province, who are enrolled in the second semester of the 2024 academic year, by using cluster random sampling, selecting the entire classroom through a lottery method. The experimental group consists of 35 grade 4/1 students taught using the electronic book (E-Book) series titled The Founding of Sukhothai Kingdom and the control group consists of 35 Grade 4/5 students taught using regular teaching. Research tools used in this study were (1) the electronic book (E-Book) series titled “The Founding of Sukhothai Kingdom”, (2) the learning management plan on the topic “Historical development in the Sukhothai Era, (3) the achievement test on the topic “Historical development in the Sukhothai Era”, with a reliability coefficient of 0.95 for the entire test. Randomized control group, pretest – posttest design was used in the experiment. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test independent. The result of the study found that 1) The electronic book (E-Book) series titled The Founding of Sukhothai Kingdom for Grade 4 students in the subject of History achieved an efficiency of 81.54/82.42, meeting the specified E1/E2 criteria of 80/80. 2) The learning achievement in History on the topic “Historical development in the Sukhothai Era” of grade 4 students taught using the electronic book (E-Book) series titled “The Founding of Sukhothai Kingdom” was significantly higher than that of students taught using Regular Teaching at the .05 level of statistical significance, consistent with the stated hypothesis.
