The development of learning achievement in Thai language on authentic diphthongs by using skill exercises for grade 5 students at Mae Pong Pracha Samakkee School

Abstract
This article aimed to (1) compare the learning achievements in Thai language on real diphthongs before and after learning by using skill exercises, and (2) study the opinions of grade 5 students towards learning activities. The sample group was Grade 5 students at Mae Pong Pracha Samakkee School. Model of pre-experimental research by using one group pretest-posttest design a single-group for measure the results before and after the experiment. The tools used in the research were learning management plans, skill exercises, pre-learning and post-learning tests and a questionnaire on students' opinions towards learning activities. The data were analysis using basic statistics including mean, standard deviation and percentage. The results of the research were as follows the comparison of learning achievements in Thai language on real diphthongs before and after learning by using skill exercises of grade 5 students at Mae Pong Pracha Samakkee School. Overall, there were mean 82.55%, which after learning were significantly higher than before .05. The opinions of grade 5 students towards learning activities were at the highest average level.
