Application of Work Principles 5 of King Rama IX : Social Geography

Abstract

This academic article aims to study the Application of Work Principles 5 of King Rama IX : Social Geography consists of four steps: 1) Creating mutual perception, 2) Learning from exemplary communities, 3) Analyzing one's own potential data, and 4) Establishing mutual agreements. In each of these steps, the community members or individuals within the community must take the lead or be the main actors. Learning that occurs will thus lead to development rooted in the social context. Relying on outsiders or government officials as main actors is not feasible. They can only provide guidance in organizing and implementing each step, suggest frameworks, assist in tool creation, provide analytical methods, or act as process facilitators. This will enable individuals within the community or society to act independently.
