Good Governance Based on Moderate Postmodern Philosophy

Abstract

This research is a qualitative study involving document analysis with the following objectives: 1) To explore the concept of good governance, 2) To study the philosophy post-modernity, and 3) To analyze the principles of good governance based on the Moderate Postmodern Philosophy. The research findings indicate that 1) Good governance involves effective management based on legal principles, ethical principles, transparency principles, participation principles, responsibility principles, and value principles. 2) The philosophy of post-modernity is a contemporary worldview that focuses on improving the quality of life through creativity, adaptability, collaboration, and seeking enlightenment, using interpretative reasoning as a tool in phenomenological perspective. 3) Analyzing the principles of good governance based on Moderate Postmodern Philosophy involves setting the overall quality of life as a common goal for all components within the framework of good governance. It emphasizes collaborative and sincere problem-solving at both systemic and individual levels, providing opportunities for people of all ages to contribute to the progressive development of the country.
