Abstract

This academic article aims to examine approaches for driving the Inner Development Goals (IDG) leadership network in Thailand from the perspective of Dr. Potjanart Seebungkerd (Coach Jimi) and to synthesize policy and practical recommendations for sustaining the network. A qualitative method was employed through phenomenological reflection and in-depth interview analysis. The findings revealed that Coach Jimi viewed the movement of IDG as a process of “collective awakening” rather than structural management. The approach emphasized the power of relationships, trust, and deep listening as the heart of leadership. The synthesis of ideas led to the development of the J.I.M.I. Model, which consists of four dimensions: Journey from Within, Inner Listening with Compassion, Meaning-making through Thai-rooted Culture, and Integrity in Relationship. This model reflected the integration of the global essence of the IDG framework with Thai cultural roots in a harmonious and holistic manner.
