The Application of the 11th Royal Working Principle : Public Benefit

Abstract

          This academic article aimed to study and analyze the application of the 11th principle of the royal guidelines: "Public Benefit," one of the 23 principles established by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great. The study focused on examining documents and information related to this principle, as well as theories of participation. The collected data were analyzed in depth to explore methods and approaches for applying the 11th principle, which emphasizes the importance of public benefit.

          The analysis revealed that applying the 11th principle reflects practices prioritizing collective interests over individual benefits. The implementation of this principle contributes to balancing economic, social, and environmental development, while promoting participatory good governance. It also highlights the necessity of collaboration among all sectors of society to achieve long-term sustainability.

          This principle serves as a key framework that can be adapted to various contexts, from community to national levels, fostering unity and shared responsibility within society. The new knowledge derived from this study is the “SAC Principles Model” model, which comprises Sustainability, Accountability, and Collaboration. This model provides a vital approach for implementing projects or initiatives that effectively emphasize public benefit.
