Abstract

This storytelling article presents about Japan's urban development undertaken under the Sustainable Development Strategy by trying to overcome poverty and reduce inequality by developing cities into creative cities. This is more than just physical urban development, but it focuses on potential human resource investments, also known as “human development cities”. Human resources are also linked to other resources within the city. Japan has chosen the 3 F + CI concepts: F1 Festival, F2 Food, F3 Fashion + Creative Economy and Innovation. I hope that this narrative will be more or less useful to all readers and help you think further about urban development.
