DEVELOPMENT OF AN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE-BASED INNOVATION MANAGEMENT MODEL FOR SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS TO ENHANCE STUDENTS' INNOVATOR COMPETENCIES UNDER NONG KHAI PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 1

This research aimed to 1) investigate the current conditions, desirable conditions, and priority needs of artificial intelligence-based innovation management for school administrators, 2) develop an artificial intelligence-based innovation management model to enhance students’ innovator competencies, and 3) evaluate the quality of the developed model. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using mixed methods research. The sample consisted of 317 teachers and educational personnel under Nong Khai Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, and 9 experts participated as key informants. The research instruments included an interview form, questionnaire, and model evaluation form, with a reliability coefficient of 0.98. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, Modified Priority Needs Index (PNI_modified), factor analysis, and content analysis.
The findings revealed that: 1) the current condition of AI-based innovation management was at a moderate level (x̄ = 3.41, S.D. = 0.52), while the desirable condition was at the highest level (x̄ = 4.73, S.D. = 0.31). The highest priority need was AI leadership. 2) The developed model consisted of seven components: AI Leadership, Innovation Management, Data-driven Management, AI Professional Development, Innovative Learning Ecosystem, Network Collaboration, and AI Evaluation and Ethics. These components explained 74.86% of the total variance. 3) The model quality evaluation results were at the highest level (x̄ = 4.85, S.D. = 0.19). In addition, students’ innovator competencies after implementing the model were significantly higher than before implementation at the .05 significance level (t = 14.36, p < .001). The findings indicate that the developed model can be effectively applied as a framework for AI-driven school management and enhancing students’ innovator competencies.
