Objectives and Scope of the Journal
        The ASEAN Journal of Education and Human Development focuses on publishing academic articles and research papers related to education and human development, particularly within the context of ASEAN countries. It covers the following fields and topics:
        1. Education Studies: Concepts, theories, and practices in educational management at all levels, and research aimed at improving the quality of education and learners.
        2. Educational Innovation: Learning technologies, instructional media, learning innovations, instructional design, digital learning, and lifelong learning.
        3. Educational Administration Innovation: Innovative management for educational institutions, leadership and strategic management, quality development in administration, and creative management.
        4. Curriculum and Instruction: Curriculum development and design, instructional management for enhancing 21st-century skills, and educational measurement and evaluation.
        5. Management Innovation: Organizational and human resource management, innovative management for improving quality of life and society, knowledge management, and creative management.
        6. Liberal Arts: Language, culture, and humanities in relation to education and human development; social sciences, arts, and cross-cultural dimensions in ASEAN; and the integration of liberal arts with learning and human skills development.
        7. Applied Educational Innovation: Application of research to develop educational innovations, development of models, best practices, and learning models that respond to societal needs, and the integration of knowledge for sustainable human and community development.

Peer Review Process   
        The journal employs a rigorous peer review process prior to publication. All articles published in the journal undergo evaluation by three experts from diverse institutions, who are not affiliated with the authors. The review process follows a double-blind peer review system, ensuring that both reviewers and authors remain anonymous to one another.

Types of Published Articles
        1. Research Articles: These include quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-method studies that are systematically designed and academically analyzed to generate new knowledge or extend existing knowledge.
        2. Academic Articles: These focus on in-depth analysis and discussion of concepts, theories, social phenomena, or contemporary issues related to education and human development.
        3. Review Articles / Book Reviews: These involve critical review, commentary, and synthesis of literature, academic works, or research studies in order to provide broader and deeper understanding in the relevant field.
        4. Innovative Practices: These present best practices, models, or frameworks in educational management and human development that are creative in nature and applicable in practice.

Publication Frequency  
        The journal is published four issues per year (quarterly) as follows:
        Issue 1: January – February
        Issue 2: March – April
        Issue 3: May – June
        Issue 4: July – August
        Issue 5: September – October
        Issue 6: November – December

 

Policy on AI-Generated Content   
        The ASEAN Journal of Education and Human Development recognizes the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in generating content that may be useful for articles submitted for future publication. However, the journal also acknowledges the necessity of ensuring that AI-generated content is managed responsibly and ethically.
        This policy outlines the journal’s practices for the use of AI-generated content in published articles.
        1. Definition of AI-Generated Content
        For the purpose of this policy, any content that is created or substantially modified by AI systems is considered AI-generated content. This includes both fully AI-generated content and human-authored content that has been significantly altered by AI systems.
        2. Principles
        The ASEAN Journal of Education and Human Development will only publish AI-generated content that adheres to the following rules:

  • AI systems used to generate content cannot be listed as authors when the content is submitted for publication.

  • The AI system employed to generate the content must be accurately described within the article.

  • The contribution of human authors to the content must be explicitly acknowledged.

  • AI-generated content must be original and not plagiarized.

  • AI-generated content must be accurate and reliable.

  • AI-generated content must not mislead or deceive readers.

        3. Procedures
Authors submitting articles that include AI-generated content must provide the following information to the journal:

  • A detailed description of the AI system used to generate the content.

  • A copy of the original input data used to generate the content.

  • A copy of the AI-generated content.

  • A statement acknowledging the contributions of the human authors to the content.

The editorial board will evaluate the AI-generated content and determine its suitability for publication.
        4. Enforcement
        The ASEAN Journal of Education and Human Development reserves the right to reject or retract any article that does not comply with this policy.

Article Processing Charges (APC)   
        There are no article processing charges (APC) for publication in this journal.

Notification of Publication Acceptance   
        This announcement is to inform authors about the issuance of acceptance letters for publication in the ASEAN Journal of Education and Human Development (AJEHD), as follows:
        1. The journal will issue an official acceptance letter for publication once the peer review process has been completed and the authors have made all required revisions according to the reviewers’ recommendations.
        2.The acceptance letter will be sent only via the journal’s official email system (ajehd.editorial@gmail.com) directly to all listed authors as they appear in the article.
