<p>This article aims to present approaches guidance services to enhance learner’s intellectual well-being. This stems from the issues related to stress and risky behaviors among Thai adolescents, highlighting the need to concretely integrate guidance counseling with mental health care. Guidance counseling in Thailand began with the first National Education Development Plan and has evolved from a career-oriented function to a crucial mechanism in the student support system, with the ultimate goal of helping students grow into well-rounded adults. The author presents three key steps toward intellectual well-being, comprising three main components: Component 1: Foundation – the principles and psychology of guidance counseling emphasizing students' self-esteem and capacity for self-development; Component 2: Driving mechanism – five fundamental services that ensure systematic implementation; and Component 3: Ultimate goal – cultivation of student’s intellectual well-being through teacher's role in creating safe spaces, promoting participation, and serving as positive role models. Applying this model will benefit schools, teachers, and students comprehensively, ensuring that education not only promotes academic learning but also builds strong life skills and resilience in students.</p>
